Hey Everyone,

First of all, I would like to introduce myself and talk a bit about my coaching expertise in soccer. My name is Andrei Popescu and I have been coaching, mentoring and advising soccer players for the last 20+ years. I have worked very closely with numerous Youth Soccer Leagues and Premier Soccer Clubs where I have trained teams that went on to win Championships, State Cups and Regionals.

At the moment I am the Boys Director of Coaching at SportingCT and the owner of LEAD SOCCER. I am also the Girls Head Varsity Coach at Cheshire Academy. 

The demands are high and quality coaching is needed. I will outline a little bit about our coaching philosophy and mission below.

OUR BRIEF HISTORY 

LEAD SOCCER is an advanced training program designed to develop, empower and lead our players to become the best version of themselves. We help players of all ages and levels improve their skills and confidence in order to accelerate their developmental process. Develop our players' abilities through a combination of experimentation, discovery and engagement.

Our dedicated coaches not only help players develop their technical abilities but are also focusing on the tactical, physical and psychosocial skills development. Training constantly on those four pillars in a professional environment can help soccer players improve and reach their full potential to play at a higher level.

As players grow and change, our LEAD SOCCER program will engage with them and be part of their milestones and triumphs. We have been doing just that for over 20+ years and we love to see the positive impact we had on our current and former players. Our ultimate goal is to help players build their CONFIDENCE and empower them to LEAD and COMPETE fearlessly.

We encourage players to express themselves and play without fear of making mis- takes. Our training sessions allow players to discover the true feeling and enjoyment of playing soccer. We understand that all children learn in different ways and our coaches are trained in delivering quality training that helps players achieve their highest level of performance.

After coaching thousands of players over the last decade, we have seen and experi- enced firsthand all the developmental stages and challenges at the recreational, town, travel and premier levels. LEAD SOCCER is here to help players train effectively and reach their full potential by helping them prepare to compete confidently with their teams.

Mission

Our mission is to develop, empower and lead our players to become the best version of themselves.

We help players develop great ball control, boost their confidence and game awareness by providing them with a fun, safe and challenging playing environment.

Philosophy

LEAD SOCCER’s philosophy is to create a fun and challenging team training environ- ment that allows players to increase their confidence and reach their maximum poten- tial through our advanced developmental training. Our skilled, experienced and dedi- cated coaches will train and empower players to learn, grow and experience a higher level of play through deliberate training.

Training Camp Fees

• Camp runs from Monday - Friday
• Time: 9-00am - 11:00pm
• $175/player (min 20 players) 
• 1 Week with 2 hours/day x 5 days of trainings
• TOTAL: 10 Hours = $3,500 (for 20 players)
• Fees include: Coaching, equipment (not field rental).
• DATES to be determined based on agreement.
